This policy covers ismaeltang.com, website enquiries and newsletter subscriptions. Separate client agreements or product privacy notices may apply to information handled while delivering a project or operating another application.

• Enquiries: your name, email address, optional organisation and position, selected budget range, project description and anything else you include in your message.
• Newsletter: the email address you submit and correspondence about your subscription or preferences.
• Direct correspondence: messages, contact details and attachments you choose to send by email.
• Website and security information: providers may process IP addresses, requested pages, timestamps, browser and device information, and technical logs to deliver and protect the website.
• Usage and performance measurements: page URLs, referrers, approximate location, browser/device information and loading-performance measurements collected through the analytics described below.

We use information to respond to enquiries, discuss or provide requested services, communicate about projects, send updates you subscribe to, understand website use, improve performance, prevent abuse, maintain necessary business records and meet applicable legal obligations.

Sending a contact enquiry does not subscribe you to the newsletter. Please provide only information relevant to your request. Do not send passwords, payment-card details, identity documents or other sensitive information through the public contact form.

We use providers to host the website, deliver content, store subscriptions and handle communications. Depending on how you interact with the website, these include:

• Vercel for hosting, delivery, security, Web Analytics and Speed Insights. Hosting infrastructure may include Amazon Web Services through Vercel.
• Cloudflare for domain-name services.
• Supabase for newsletter subscription storage.
• Resend for delivery of contact-form messages.
• Google / Gmail for the inbox currently receiving contact-form enquiries.
• Zoho for email sent directly to our domain email addresses.
• Sanity for blog content and image delivery.

These providers receive information needed for their respective functions. Their own notices describe processing they perform for their own purposes. We do not sell personal information collected through this website or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

We may disclose information when required by law, to obtain professional advice, or where reasonably necessary to establish or protect legal rights, investigate abuse or protect others.

We operate in Guyana and use Vercel website hosting in the United States. Delivery networks and our email, database, content and other providers may process or store information in the United States or other countries. Information may also be accessed from Guyana when we respond to enquiries or administer the business.

The location of the website server does not establish the storage location of every provider. Privacy laws may differ between countries. Protections and transfer safeguards required by applicable law remain relevant; contact legal@ismaeltang.com for information about arrangements affecting your information.

The website uses Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to understand visits and loading performance. Vercel describes these tools as providing aggregated or non-identifying measurements rather than advertising profiles. Web Analytics uses a short-lived request-derived identifier instead of analytics cookies; Speed Insights records technical performance measurements.

We keep enquiry and project correspondence for the time needed to respond, provide requested services and maintain necessary business records. Relevant factors include whether a project proceeds, an ongoing relationship, legal record-keeping requirements and the need to address a dispute.

Newsletter details are used while your subscription is active. After an opt-out, only information needed to honour your preference or meet another legitimate requirement should be retained. Technical logs and analytics are also subject to provider retention settings and terms. Backup copies may remain until the relevant backup cycle expires.

You may ask about retention or request deletion by contacting legal@ismaeltang.com. Some records may need to be retained for legal obligations or claims.

We use encrypted website connections and technical measures designed to reduce unauthorised access and misuse. No internet transmission, email service or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
